When one is charged with a criminal offence, this puts them automatically as criminal
defendants, where the government has to prove beyond reasonable doubt their liability. This
guilty determination is done through a trial before conviction or punishing the offender. A trial
can be defined as the process in which available of a case is formally examined before a jury to
determine the matter and give a judgment/sentence. Certain formal procedures have to be
followed during this process by the jury presiding over the matter in line with the laid out
constitutional rights among other rights of a trial. Trial constitutes of two parties whereby each of
