Environmental health hazard would usually result in a wide range of diseases. The
common environmental health problem in the community is respiratory diseases and
especially bronchitis. Although there are a number of individuals who suffer from chronic
bronchitis, the most common type of bronchitis is acute bronchitis. Most of the people that
are usually affected by acute Bronchitis within the community are children. This is so
because the health problem would usually last for longer with significant dry coughs and
wheezing. In most cases, children, as well as adults, show symptoms of wheezing and mucus
which is mainly a result of the blockage of the airways by mucus.

Exposure to environmental hazards would usually result in an increased reaction from
the body. Pollution is one of the environmental hazards that from home one can easily
ascertain that he/she has been exposed to the environmental hazard. There are reactions that
one can get from environmental pollution including reactions from air pollutants, such as bad
odour leading to respiratory infections (Molina-Holgado, Hider, Gaeta, Williams & Francis,
