Download the data file Project Assignment Data. You’ll need to open statgraphics, then open by selecting File->Open->Open Data Source, choose “External Data File”, then browsing for your excel file.

As you work through the assignment, write your report using either the provided Project Assignment 2 Template or create your own document from scratch.

The company sent a survey (in paper format, but with a wax seal on the envelope - it looked very classy) to a randomly selected group of client households, and received 97 valid responses. Personal Goals Statement Ethics understands the difference between doing what is right and what is wrong. Personal goals are the expectation that one has when carrying out a particular study. In this course of ethics in business, I have developed personal goals which will enable me to understand the context better. The personal goals will prepare my mind on what to expect in the study. It will outline my objectives towards the study. In this paper, I shall be handling the personal goals I have towards the study of ethics in business. My first personal goal is to understand the moral life. This goal will enable me to understand humanity. Studying this course will enable me to relate well with one another with respect and harmony. Am planning to be much attentive in class and asking many questions. I will also be punctual in attending the classes so as to understand more about good human life. My second personal goal is to promote the elimination of frauds and unethical practices in the society. With the study of this course, I will be able to understand the unethical practices in the society and how to deal with them. I will be attending group discussions so as to understand different unethical practices in society. The other goal is to maintain the highest concern for the safety and health of people. With the understanding of ethics in business from this course, I will be able to know the counterfeits in the markets that cause illness to people with an aim of making money. This will enable me to educate the people on how to recognize the counterfeits products in the market. I will be doing my personal research in the library and the through the media. I will also need to understand the principles of ethics such as honesty, integrity, loyalty, and respect. I will be much attentive in class so as to understand this concept. I will also do the homework study so as to get more details about the principles of ethics. The other personal goal I have in this course is to understand the origin of ethics and its importance. I need to understand where ethics originated from and reasons for its origin. I also need to understand the advantages of ethics in business and how to handle unethical behaviors in a company. By going through this course, I will be able to deal with employees who break the code of conduct in their line of duty. I will accomplish this by having discussions with the lecturer and also managers in various companies. I will also understand various definitions of terms in the study. I need to understand terms such as ethics, morals, values, and principles of ethics and their importance in an organization. This will be achieved by having group discussions once per week. I will also understand the responsibility I have in dealing with ethics in society. This will enable me to be a role model to many and be able to change those who practice the unethical behaviors. This will be achieved by reading my notes thoroughly. I will be able to understand the various examples of the code of ethics in society. This will enable me to understand how I should behave in different lines of duty. By understanding this course, I will be able to handle different people from different backgrounds and also those working in different organizations. This will increase harmony in the organization by respecting and understanding one another. I will be participating in group discussions and case studies to understand this in a detailed way. Lastly, my personal goal in ethics is to understand what the law states about to do and don'ts in the organization. I will be able to understand what the law says concerning ethics and what actions should be followed to those who break the law. I will understand this by reading the constitution and understanding what the laws state. In conclusion, the course of ethics is an important course to study. It will eliminate the unethical practices in the society which causes conflicts. By understanding the principles of ethics, one is able to have the values which will define his character. He will be able to hold his position with integrity and honesty. Code of ethics also defines the responsibility of the employees in the organizations. Ethics understands the difference between doing what is right and what is wrong. Personal goals are the expectation that one has when carrying out a particular study.
