Where to Invest and Why
Investing in real estate is one of the investments with large return potential on investor’s
money (Hoesli & MacGregor, 2014). Investing in real estate property is one of the best
investment strategies. I would like to invest in the residential real estate because it will create a
stream of income and by buying and holding the property for some period of time, the property
value will increase. They stay that “every seven to ten years, property value tends to double”.
I will buy and rent out a single-family home in Victorville, California. Over time, a
property’s rental income tends to increase. Therefore, by investing in the residential real estate, I
will have a stream of income from rent and the property value will grow over time. I will invest
in single family homes basically because they require a lesser start-up capital compared to that
