Living with Arts
Art has been a fascinating part of human life; this is because some people take it as a
source of employment, and some take it as a source of entertainment while some take it as an
educational tool. Every culture or community in the world has got their arts which they tend to
adore due to the stories they listen to, stories written in the books or even beliefs that spread
around the generations. Exceedingly, daily human life is a resemblance to art however people
tend not to know this, from the pictures we see around our walls at homes, drawn on our clothes
or even the dressing styles or mode of life of a particular community. All this are art that we are
living with, but we don’t know, or we know, however, live to ignore.
Actors do various forms of art, artists come up with exciting artworks that people use as a
source of entertainment in most cases, and at home, we decorate our houses with beautiful
pictures or colors that are assembled by an artist just for the example of beauty. The most
exciting thing I learned from this chapter is that in most cases, we misinterpret most artworks, we
may see a picture, a drawing or a building done by an artist and think that it may mean
something. However, we end up making wrong judgments. Most human beings have an aesthetic
experience with art, and this is what makes us decide on any artwork we come across.
An evident of an aesthetic experience of art is the Stonehenge structure in south England;
recent research found that it assumes a graveyard for the ruling dynasty which cremated the
remains of 240 people in the past five hundred years. However, for the community that built it, it
represents a Neolithic. Such outcomes, therefore, tells us that art has got a deeper meaning and
understanding needs keen observation of proper search and access to facts from the authors.

What is Art
From this picture, it is correct to say that the definition of art has rapidly changed as from
the ancient period to the modern world. The perspective at which people see art has differently
changed and everyone now takes that art as he/she understands it. According to a German
philosopher, the definition of art is aesthetic, meaning it is an experience that experiences
gaining from the sensory organs and the individual’s feeling. An individual may walk around
and come across a unique drawing or color; his/her sensory organs will automatically react
bringing in a mood. The feeling may come out as a spoken word or a belief, and this is what will
draw the meaning of art in this person’s brain.
At some point in life, one may come across an object and see this object as useless which
has no meaning at all; this is as a sign of the judgment given by the sensory organs of the brain
as a result of aesthetic experience. However, to the manufacturer of this object, there are couples
of meaning attached to this object, and it should not be taken for granted. For example, a
Japanese tea bowl of the 17th century is said not to hold too many people. However other people
see it as a social object to the eye which should be k...
