Description
Please provide a full solution to the attached question (a second year course: Thermal Physics, subjects: statistical mechanics, entropy, multiplicity).
Please write solutions on paper and send photos. Thank you very much.
I am preparing for an exam and don't have time for this, however, I have a high mark in this class and can't afford to let it drop. Please complete it perfectly, you'll have money and my immense gratitude! Thank you!

Question 5. On Assignment 3, you showed that the multiplicity of a polymer with N links,
each of length b, and an end-to-end distance L is, approximately,
2(N, L) = S(N, L = 0) e-L2/2N6?
(a) [1 point] What is the formula for the entropy of this polymer, S(N, L)?
(b) [4 points] For a one-dimensional system such as this, the length L is analogous to the
volume V of a three-dimensional system. Similarly, the pressure P is replaced by the tension
force F. Taking F to be positive when the polymer is pulling inward, write down the ther-
modynamic identity (involving du, ds, and dL) for this system. Provide the relationship
between F and S for this system.
() [2 points] Use your result from (b) to show that the tension force in the polymer is
directly proportional to L (Hooke's law).
(d) [3 points] Discuss the dependence of the tension force on temperature. If you increase
the temperature of a rubber band (which is composed of polymers), does it tend to expand
or contract? Does this behaviour make sense?

Greenhouse Effect Positive and Negative Feedback of Climate Change Paper
You've finished the reading and all the video clips. What is the "muddiest point" for you regarding climate change? I.e. What aspect of weather, climate, the greenhouse effect, feedback loops, climate change impacts, mitigation, adaptation, etc... still seems a bit unclear to you? To help you organize your thoughts and understanding, I listed the climate change learning objectives below, but you don't have to address one of those questions in your post. Also, it may help you to use the framework that we used previously, "I understand ____, but don't quite get ___" in your post, but you are not required to do so.Climate Change Learning Objectives:Distinguish between weather and climate.Describe, in detail, how/where the “greenhouse effect” works and what is meant by the “enhanced greenhouse effect”?Explain the anthropogenic cause of climate change. List 3 major greenhouse gasses and identify major anthropogenic sources of each.Distinguish between positive feedback and negative feedback related to climate change. Give specific examples of each.Explain how climate change might affect each of the following: sea level, precipitation patterns, living organisms (give several examples), human health, and agriculture.Define & give several examples of the 2 general approaches to climate change: mitigation & adaptation.Note what we doing to prevent climate change at the international, national, state, and local level and describe the role of the IPCC.Identify what you can personally do to mitigate climate change? List several ideas for each greenhouse gas.

Read FirstChoose one of the following two Portfolio Projects (options shown below) to complete. Do not do both assignments. Identify your assignment choice in the title of your submission. Review the Portfolio Project grading rubric to understand how you’ll be graded on your project.Instructions for Both Portfolio Project OptionsYour Portfolio Project will contain two sections (Section 1 and Section 2). For each section, you need to provide a 6-page narrative (for a full project total of a 12-page narrative) as outlined below:Assume you have been appointed as an architect or design professional for a construction project. Further assume that you need to specify the materials that have to be used for implementing the construction project. Your choices and considerations will reflect on project plans, specifications, and other contract documents.Section 1 (Whole Building Design Guide).Explore the following two sections of the WBDG - Whole Building Design Guide:Guides & Specifications (Links to an external site.)Design Recommendations (Links to an external site.)Based on your review of the above set of resources, choose three building elements that relate to any of the topics of soil, wood, concrete, masonry materials, steel, asphalt, bituminous materials, or sustainable construction materials. Then prepare a minimum of a six-page narrative (excluding supplemental pages, such as the cover page, table of contents, references, and appendices – if any) to describe the three elements you identified in Item I above. Discuss the following main considerations in:choosing these elements in buildingspreparing these elements in buildingsplacing and installing these elements in buildingsSection 2 (Principles of Construction Materials).Use the course textbook and other reliable, peer-reviewed references to provide a six-page narrative to outline:your choices of materials (from the list of materials provided below) and your rationale by considering the following criteria, at a minimum: practical suitability, climate, economic, sustainability, and safety considerations), andthe main practical and technical considerations in preparation, placement, and installation of the materials by considering means and methods, and equipment and machinery needed to install the material.Portfolio Project OptionsHere are your two Portfolio Project choices:Portfolio Project Option #1:WoodBrick masonryBituminous materialsPortfolio Project Option #2:ConcreteSteelStone masonryYour submission should be a minimum of 12-pages in length and formatted according to the CSU-Global Guide to Writing and APA Requirements (Links to an external site.). Be sure to discuss and reference concepts taken from the course reading material and relevant research. You must include a minimum of 8 peer-reviewed scholarly resources beyond the text or other course materials. The CSU-Global Library (Links to an external site.) is a great place to find resources. Be sure to properly organize your writing and include an introduction, headings / subheadings for the body of your work, analysis and recommendations, conclusion, and list of references. Consult the assignment template (Links to an external site.) for a more complete list of requirements.
