affect the lifestyle of the people. Besides, the protests involve a large group of people not less
than 100,000 individuals. Additionally, the protests engage both men and women complaining
about a burning issue (Thorpe, 1).
The differences in the way they were conducted or their effectiveness are that some protests were
violent protests that involved shootings and killings while others were peaceful demonstrations
that did not involve hurting anyone. Furthermore, the protests were initiated by different groups
of people at different years, for example, the May Day protests, pro-Trump rally and the airport
protests. On top of this, some protests can be for a specific group of people, for instance, women
like the Women’s March on Washington (The Pulselive, 1). Nonetheless, some protests may
bring change while others may be taken lightly.
