Main issues
The previous activity introduced the concept of 3D printing, highlighting the area of
orthopedics. Orthopedics mainly revolves around the production of the various tools and assets
that can help in the surgery of the respective fields such as musculoskeletal systems. This paper
first introduced the concept of 3D printing which gives an insight into the various industries and
sectors that can apply the basics of the technology. When considering the adoption and
implementation of the presented area of interest, a company will need to discuss specific issues.
Some of these issues may include but not limited to the financial, the social, ethical and political
implications of the concept in the context. The company, in this case, must first understand the
profitability of the concept in the future. 3D printing in areas such as orthopedics may need
ample planning which will in the long run form a firm foundation for the attainment of the
desired outcomes in the future.
On the other hand, the firm will need to determine the implementation time which may
affect the overall ability to achieve the desired results. On the other hand, the firm will need to
define the scope of the technology in the context. For example, the firm, in this case, will need to
determine the boundaries of the system and technology which will help to create a firm
foundation meant to boost the ability to maximize and focus on a given idea. In this case, the
company in the context will need to consider adopting 3D printing to supplement the orthopedics
field.
In the process, making the final decision will need the efforts of the various stakeholders.
Some of the key stakeholders in the company who may affect the entire concept may include the

senior management, the sponsors, the shareholders and also but not limited to the underlying
employees who engage in the day to day operations of the firm. These stakeholders, in the end,
play a massive part in the implementation of the right decisions that will, in the end, form a core
part in the implementation process. Additionally, from an external perspective, the government
and the other regulatory agencies may have an interest in the entire issue based on the fact that it
involves and touches a critical area of not only the business field but also the health areas of the
target customers or beneficia...
