Gun Violence in schools Speech
Good morning everyone, I would like to thank you for availing yourselves to attend this
set meeting. Today we are discussing the issue of gun violence that is a major cause of death
between the people of ages 13-35 years old. Gun violence is caused by when both licensed and
unlicensed guns are used to commit crimes and even suicides. In the past, I have participated in
research that was to determine the number of teenage deaths caused by gun violence. It was
found that 80% of child deaths were caused by guns that belonged to a parent or a relative to the
child. The issue of gun violence, especially when mass shootings, occur in schools causes
children to enter into depression due to the loss of friends, and this later makes them have low
performance in schools. However, gun violence is an issue that emanates from the failed policies
on gun regulations, and hence its effect can be curbed by making the government aware of its
effects. The government will rise to action when they understand the painful experiences
undergo after losing their young ones.
