undertake an action that promotes the greatest well-being for the largest group. Therefore, in the
Trolley problem, ‘Would you sacrifice one person to save five?’ utilitarians argue that it is better
to sacrifice the life of one individual and save the lives of the 5 people.

In my perspective, I agree with utilitarianism in making the decision regarding the first
