Assignment B: Anticipating and Responding to Counter-Argument.

INTRODUCTION
Based on my reasoning regarding sustainability of the Vans shoe company, I would still
purchase their products despite the little emphasis on their sustainability efforts. Since declaring
sustainability in 2014, Vans Company has been reluctant on adjusting to the increasing
sustainability in the fashion industry. The company made its first huge sales in 2014 when it was
first launched, and it has not been able to sustain those sales. Another argument made against
Van is that it does very little to promote the project. But really, Van is a brand that everyone is
drooling to own at least a pair from the company, and that is enough to cover for the promotion.
Lastly, some colors of shoes produced by Van tend to cause more arguments more than the red
and black dress.
