In other words, psychobiography looks at the person’s whole life in an effort to understand their personality. Psychobiography is not only biography—biographical information is included, but as part of the whole. In biography the aim is to tell the story of a life; in psychobiography the aim is to make sense of or understand a life. Another important point—psychobiography is NOT about diagnosing a person. While you may report a diagnosis they were given by a qualified physician, you are not to make diagnosis of mental problems the point of your paper. Abstract
Michael Jackson was a famous musical icon not just in the U.S but all across the globe.
Even in his death, he remains one of the treasured musical personalities. The king of pop as he
would be known at times was a people's person. He loved people, and a good share of his songs
was about inspiring the world population. So many copies of his albums have so far been sold
after his demise. Some of his money is directed to charitable organizations while others monies
are for his family. In spite of being loved by many people, Michael occasionally kept out of the
public attention. As a child, he suffered emotional and physical abuse from his father, Joseph
Jackson. As a result, his entire adulthood spin around childhood memories. Michael hid from the
public, and sometimes he would instruct his security guards not to let anyone interfere with his
free time. His father made him a gloomy and sad child because Michael was expected to do so
much in his musical career for the sake of pleasing his father. At a certain point in life, he was
accused of child abuse cases. Lack of sufficient evidence, however, saw him walk free. He
surpassed almost all barriers to becoming the world's respected pop star.

Michael Jackson was born in on 29, August 1958 in Gary Indiana. He was the eight born
out of ten siblings. Michael came from a working-class family though they only afforded to live
in a two bedroomed house along Jackson Street. Katherine Johnson, the mother was a Jehovah
witness devotee aside from being a housewife. Joseph Jackson, Michael's father, was a crane
administrator and a former guitarist. In the early 1960s, Joseph Jackson consolidated his children
and put them in a musical group. Initially, Jackson's music group started with three members.
The founding members were Jackie, Jermaine, and Tito. Later on, Michael joined the trio, and
henceforth he was made the leader of the group (Reuters, 2013). The Jackson five came into
being upon the entry of Marlon Jackson into the group. Of all the members, Michael was the
naughty one at times, and in spite of this, his father put all the efforts towards making the
Jackson five a successful singing group.
Michael had a troubled and strenuous relationship with his father, and as a result, his
