In the past, experts on the brain believed that once the brain was fully developed, it could not be changed. Then, something remarkable happened that caused experts to believe that the brain could be changed or rewired. They called this concept neuroplasticity. In this assignment, you will select 1 of the following articles to review and then address the discussion questions:

Neuroplasticity refers to the ability of the brain to change and adapt by forming and
reorganizing synaptic connections in response to learning or following an injury. The article by
Medeiros demonstrates how the brain of the people with schizophrenia disorder was rewired.
