Introduction
When the moment to settle for my tertiary education came, I had a hard time deciding on
the type of college to settle for and pursue my career. Although I had not settled for a specific
career, I was sure that I wanted nothing outside the fields of tourism and hospitality. I was
concerned with travelling outside my home country and explore other parts of the world. I knew
that I loved having new experiences. I had to choose a career that was able to get me to new
experiences as often as possible. I was sure that in the field of hospitality and more particularly
in the tourism sector, there are good opportunities for one to get travelling and getting to learn
about new experiences after a short while. Therefore, this paper discusses my career path asan
airline pilot. The discussion shall involve my career studies throughout my college life and the
first two years of working as the airline pilot.
The specialisation got me in the area of airline pilot because graduating from there would
give me more chances of exploring the world. I was also interested in seeing people enjoy their
travelling every time they are on their tours. Therefore, having a chance to control the journeys
taken by the tourists on their tours would enable me to ensure that they get the services that they
would desire during their travelling. As soon as I was accepted in the college to pursue my career
course, I felt comfortable and at home. In my first year of college education, I have had the
feeling that I do not want to go back to the life outside the college. I have the loved the exposure
that the college has been taking me through. The studies involve multicultural interactions since
the students and the other parties in the college are a composition of various tribes and races in
the world. Therefore, I could not avoid fellng like I had been introduced to a large family.

remain focused on a factor that they would like to achieve within a given time. Members of
airline crew are responsible for all the factors that affect or are likely able to affect passengers. It
is their role to ensure that the passengers have a
