Checklist:
Cover page with your name, paper title, the course name and number, the instructor's name, and date.
Introduction (1 paragraph): Clearly state your research topic or question, give necessary background,
and establish the importance of your topic.
Summarize your three sources (1-2 paragraphs per source): Make sure each summary includes the
authors' research questions, methods of collecting data, major findings, and conclusions. Note that
sources should be ordered chronologically or grouped according to similar methodologies or findings.
Personal analysis (1-2 paragraphs): Given the available research, what can you say about your original
research question? If you advanced a thesis, was it supported by the literature? Your analysis may also
include some of the following questions: Did any interesting patterns or contrasts emerged in the
research? What might explain divergent or unexpected findings? Were there any weaknesses in the
methodologies or conclusions? Do you have any recommendations for further research? What theoretical
or policy implications can you derive from your research? Remember, you are not summarizing your
sources again, but rather analyzing your research question in light of the existing research.
Reference list: List your three sources alphabetically on a separate page using APA style.

I approve of your topic, but I would revise the introduction
paragraph. Reread for grammar, punctuation, clarity. I would
define same sex marriage, later add some statistics if
provided in one of your sources. Also make sure sources are
listed in alphabetical order.
