Change management is a systematic method used to deal with the change in the
goals of an organization. Change management is essential in a company's growth. For instance,
when a company needs to change a specific program, there are costs associated with the planning
and execution of it. Mostly there is no clarity or assurance that the change will work or fail
(Kotter, 2007). This paper will reflect on the importance of change management and the role of a
change manager.
Importance of Change management for the company
1) There is a reduction in time used to implement: Sometimes when there is a need for
change, a team is randomly picked within the organization. The members of the group have to
work first then meet later to discuss the changes. This method results in a lot of time being used
in planning and executing the plan. With change management, there is a special team selected
