Why buy product A when product B will be better?

I’m working on a Business exercise and need support.

The Apple product line is a very good example of product development lifecycle. Apple has continuously released new products at accelerated rate. We have been criticized about competing with their own products by releasing new products. Have you ever reconsidered purchasing a product out of fear that the new product lifecycle may surpass the existing product? For example, why buy product A when product B will be better? 150 words
