In the recent past and in the past decade especially, people have adopted poor nutritional
choices that have led to myriads of lifestyle diseases which inevitably affect the quality of lives
they lead. In a study done by by Dariush Farhud, “nutritional choices influence the health of an
individual.” Being a critical compoennet of good health, lifestyle practices that are detrimental
should be cast off, and new ones implemented. The quality of life is heavily influenced by the
lifestyle of an individual, and some of the current trends include huge consumptions of junk
food/ unhealthy meals, inactivity, heavy consumption of alcohol and smoking, drug abuse and
stress. The relationship between a person’s wellbeing and their lifestyle has a direct correlation.
Given that there is a varied to rectify the disturbing trend, one of the ways is adopting a practice
of meal prepping. Meal prepping is the practice of making healthy food to help avoid the
temptation of resulting in junk and other unhealthy food choices. The following paper is an
exploration of the idea of meal prepping as a means of fighting poor nutritional choices which
lead to lifestyle disease such as obesity, hypertension, and diabetes among others. Meal prepping
is a primary solution in combating unhealthy living. It is a champion for healthy living since it
enables the individual to consciously decide what to consume and the amounts in which to do so.
A sedentary lifestyle and increased use of technology can be faulted for the problems
observed regarding healthy living. Human beings have sunk into comfort zones that gradually
