Description

This is a class forum question that needs to be answer with at least 180 in your own words please,

Class, While purchasing a car is a good example of distributive bargaining because a person does not begin the negotiations by discussing the resistance point, they go on to discuss the demands early on. "Target points, resistance points, and initial offers all play an important role in distributive bargaining" (Lewicki, Saunders, & Barry. 2015). Also long term effect on personal relationship are not good because there is only one winner. When a person goes into a car dealership they probably had rehearsed a bit before going in and speaking with the sales person, the sales person wants to get the best highest price for the vehicle where the person buying the car want to get the best deal or lowest cost of the car. There is the asking price of the car and what a person is willing to purchase the car, but no one took a look the blue book value or the true value of the car.
