Sir Richard Branson s an English business magnate as well as an investor who is widely
known for being the founder of the Virgin group which boasts of controlling more than 400
companies worldwide. He expressed his desire to venture into entrepreneurship at a young age of
about 16 years. Ever since he has opened a chain of stores and in the 1980s he set up the Virgin
Atlantic airline as well as expanded the virgin records music label. He is globally known for his
services to entrepreneurship for works in the music, transport, retail sectors, and his humanitarian
work. His net worth is estimated to being about US$5.1 billion.
