much coveted Navy contract for flooring services, John Doe Inc has to make sure that all
monetary litigations and damages are avoided by correctly determining the cost of the contract
and deliberately making a decision to ensure that the firm’s patent rights are protected. It is
noteworthy that performance based payments alongside progress payments are common and
mostly preferred by government contractors based on the purchase type and contract. Quality
control is another important aspect that has to be considered and as such, the company has to
produce high quality products (flooring materials) and see to it that all quality indices are tested
and confirmed before product delivery to the Navy.

The type of payment system that is used in any organization is crucial since it determines
so many factors including customer and employee satisfaction and service provision. It is
therefore vital to select a payment type that suits John Doe Inc company as well as the local base
