Question description

So the short story "Paul's Case" is written by Willa Cather, and in the story she uses imagery, and metaphors to reinforce her theme. I just need all of the examples of light and darkness in the story, and the reason why she included it in the story in order for me to figure out what ideas she has developed through the use of these images.
