GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE

The world has been experiencing a vast of changes in the recent past. Some of the evident
changes include the changing way of communication as well as the way of doing business. Many
of the things that were domesticated in the past are now experiencing a global view. With the
changes in the world, it is critical to bring to an understanding that it is not possible to leave out
the experiences of changes in criminal justice and the trend of criminal activities (Kappeler and
Potter, 2017). There are new measures of crimes and criminals as it is in other areas of
economics and communication. In fact, globalization has actually affected the way people
criminals operate. There is a complete change in the criminal justice system.
It is evident that the days when crimes and the issue of rendering justice within a
particular geographical line are far gone. The crime trends are no longer a matter of state or
federal concern. Rather has become a global issue. Bodies such as the United Nations are coming
up with information that is showing that there is a changing phenomenon on the issue of crimes
and the way justice is offered from each corner of the world. It is through such understanding
that the concerned agencies are taking measures in order to make the issue of dealing with
criminals an international issue rather than state and national issues. The way investigations are
done, the arrests, as well as the delivery of justice and punishment, has to change as the world
moves into the future. Globalization of crimes and criminal justice is now at international level
and is enjoyed the proceeds of globalization. The need for boosting expertise as well as
competence in dealing with crime is an aspect that is required across the corners of the world.
If there is one thing that cannot be denied is that globalization is real. In the wake of
globalization, there are more activities related to organized crimes as the criminals tend to rush to
fit in the expanding global trade market. There are strong networks of organized crimes which
are hard to detect, unlike the past where groups would spend their time in a certain geographical

locality and conducts their activities within those areas. However, with the ease of
communication, criminal networks can connect virtually and open up new opportunities...
