Kantian ethics is a theory that is based on the morality of duty by Immanuel
Kant. It’s defined by the rightness or wrongness of actions does not depend
on their consequence or whether they fulfill our duty. It focuses on the action
not the consequences. To me in the business system, it would contain
universal law and abide by it. In the business world we are told to do the
unexpected to push our limits. If businesses worried about the consequences
behind actions, half of the things wouldn’t be tried.
Truly utilitarianism prioritizes the personal satisfaction, but it is the opposite
of Kant’s ethics. It focuses on the actions that are right if they are useful to the
majority and considers the benefits and rewards imbedded in a plan of action.

A) Both of the institutes have some common values when it comes to the economy of
the country. BALLE and U.S. Chamber both organizations are working for
developing opportunities for people. Both of them are focused on building a strong
economy with the help of corporations and strong Entrepreneurs. They have a strong
relation with community and others corporation who are working with them. BALLE
is supporting small business build a long life strong relationship with their investors
and communities. U.S. Chamber is the world biggest business organization which
places its values in all businesses, they make pro-business rules and regulate the laws,

B) They both are not much different while talking about helping people of America.
BALLE is a private organization and investors are investing in small business so
which can help communities at local level. They are mostly trying to do in the
community which is morally good, by helping others they are showing their
involvement in the development of the economy of America. Investors who are
interested in starting a new business are investing in the partnership of BALLE. U.S.
Chamber is the biggest organization of business in the world; it helps by focusing on
rules and regulation. It tells how rules, policies, and regulations are affecting

C) By studying both of the cases, the first and most important issue I have noticed is
lack of awareness in communities. Lack of funds, tools, education, materials and
health care, all these factors are highly impacted and which can slow down the
process of growing and development. BALLE should make more opportunities for the
local community and U.S. Chamber have to open membership for owners who want
to start their business.

Good Job is about to meet the needs of the employee with good treatment and motivation.
Smartest companies are investing in their employees and this action can lower the cost and
boost profit.
Only giving a salary to their employee is not good behavior, employers have to make some
personal relationship with their employees. There must be also some good incentives and
benefits for their employees in any company, with a good working relationship between
employer and employee. A good relationship between employer and employee is very
important as it brings many positive changes at the workplace and it also creates a good
working environment. According to other people pay the minimum to employee keep their
prices low but according to Zeynop, it is not a good strategy. Zeynop views is that, if we invest
well in employee and keep them motivated when they can get profit and these companies can

When it talks about a good job for People of color and Women, I want to say that if a
company want to raise their standard and if they considered that every person has equal right
in society then this work is good for them otherwise there is no specific good job for People of

McDonald’s and Wal-Mart are two growing corporations and offering many good services to
their customers. They also set standard and values for their employees but I think it is not
right to say that it is a good job. in these companies, they are not giving much importance to
their employees because they always have an option of replacement.

There is much that can be learnt from the advancement in technology, After
conducting the proper research, I came to an understanding that Mturk also known as
Amazon Mechanical Turk, is a system that allows humans to complete micro tasks on
Amazon's platform at a small fee depending on the nature of the task. Amazon offers
these services to aid businesses majorly in being capable of accessing the marketplace
workforce. They also do that with an aim of being able to cut cost for businesses that
can't afford the normal cost of this service. Furthermore, it eliminates the hassle of
businesses which at all time have been under pressure in regard to hiring of a more
competent and vibrant workforce. Therefore MTurk finds employees globally and
incorporates their knowledge into the business processes and systems. Consequently,
MTurk has proved beyond any benefit of doubt in helping enterprises be able to finish
their tasks at a quicker rate and more affordable.
With the above research, having been conducted, I believe that Customers and
Amazon Company are the greatest winners. This because, Amazon itself has been
able to add a more unique service mainly to its platform which is earning them
reasonable revenue as it takes approximately 20% of the fee .Furthermore, the
customers are too winners due to the benefits that they have earned so far from this
service through being able to place an order at a as low as $ 0.01 as the site permits
them as customers to list such lower prices. Merely telling requesters to “consider
how long it will take a Worker to complete each assignment.
However, on the other hand, the losers in this scenario are the competitors
who take part in the provision of their services at slightly more higher budgets than
what Amazon offers at. Furthermore the service Providers also are losers as they have
to work at such lower cost and end up receiving peanuts as the pay for their work.

For-profit businesses should pursue customers and clients at the base of the pyramid (BOP). BOP has a
population of about 70 percent of consumers who are at the base, or bottom, of the pyramid. These
individuals own less than $10,000 worth of assets and earn below $3000 a year in local purchasing
power. In the text, it states that “Although the poor earn little individually, collectively they represent a
vast market, and they often pay a poverty premium, creating an opening for companies to be able to
deliver quality products at lower prices”. Therefore, businesses that focus on the bottom of the pyramid
can benefit from a great business opportunity. This opportunity includes an increase in profits by social
development and employment. For example, S.C. Johnson, launched a business called WOW in rural
Ghana. This company designed products to prevent poor families from illnesses. Their interaction with
consumers in Ghana gave them the ability to understand what the consumers in Ghana
want/need. Furthermore, this allowed their company to build a business model that will increase their
profits in the future.
While reading the article titled “Cocreating Business’s New Social Compact” by Jeb Brugmann and
C.K. Prahalad, it is learned that companies will partner with nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) to
help the BOP clients develop effective business enterprises. For example, a company called Danone
has partnered with Bangladesh’s Grameen Bank to manufacture and sell bottom of the pyramid dairy
products. Companies and NGOs are realizing that each possess something that the other needs to
operate in low-income markets. While working together, they are creating business models that help to
grow new markets.
