Introduction
A leader is an individual who guides people or an organization at large, and some people
argue that people are born leaders in that they have some innate traits at birth that develop to
leadership skills, but I also believe that leadership skills can be acquired through learning and
mentoring. Leaders are not born to lead but prepared to lead through the life experiences that
they go through in their earlier years. There are many leadership skills that a leader is required to
have and some of them include excellent communication skills, innovative, their integrity levels
should be on a higher level and most importantly possess the skills for relationship building as
this will enable them to work in a trustworthy team with individuals that can share everything for
the success of the project at hand.
Why I chose Timothy Donald Cook
Timothy Donald cook is among the leaders in the Worlds 50 Greatest leaders 2018 for his
exemplary performance in his role as the Chief Executive Officer at Apple Inc. but before this
position he served as the Chief operating officer in the same organization and promotions do not
come easy meaning that he did a great job in his previous position to be made the company's
