INTRODUCTIONAll through history, men have been viewed as superior to women in many diverse cultures. The African Tradition Religion also believed women totally had no place and were viewed as people created to be married by anyone who wished to and bear the men children, as many as they wanted. On the other hand Christianity views men and women as the same as God sees us as His children because we are all equal in His eyes. Women are seen as helpers in all aspects. They support their husbands in churches and hold ministerial positions as well. They are our pastors, deaconesses, head ushers, and marriage counselors.Islam accords value and honor to women much more than the rest of the society. The Quran speaks of women and men as being created from a single soul and men should treat them kindly. (Azumah, 2008) Both men and women will be rewarded by God in the life after. Quran 4:15-17 says that those who treat their parents with kindness, especially their mothers will go to paradise.However, on another side, the Muslim faith views women as inferior and deficient in intelligence and religion. They are treated as impure, seductive and evil thus they must be segregated and veiled to avoid them from tempting men with their bodies. They are treated as objects and would make a prayer invalid if they passed in front of a man praying. They are not allowed to address men in any gathering and they have the second priority even in eating, they cannot feed before the men and cannot ev
