This military force often suffers a low or no death count. Numerous research papers have proved that democratic states are as war-like just as much as non-democratic states. Even though this is the case, according to recent papers a new hypothesis has been developed stating that democratic states are less war-like compared to non-democratic states.History has helped distinguish democracies in the manner that these states can be divided into two; Pacifist and militant.
