Week 1, DQ2: The Onus Is on the Senders of Messages. How well do you respond to honest feedback from someone who sent it?What are some ways in which senders might receive feedback from their messages? How might this feedback affect the sender and the message? Why is this important?RESPONSE 1My feedback delivery method would have to depend on what type of feedback I will be providing. If the feedback is for coaching purposes which may include comments the receivercould potentially interpret asnegative or embarrassingI ensure when responding by email Inever "reply to all".My intent is to provide theinformationfor coaching purposes so therefore it is only intended for that person. If the feedback is of a sensitive nature I ensure I meet with the person to discuss due to written communication can sometimes be misinterpreted due to the removal of tone and body language.Again the method of delivery depends on the situation the email might be required if there is an issuewith the senders performance which needs to be addressed. On the other hand if the feedback is to acknowledge hard work or a good job I ensure I respond at minimum to the sender and sender's manager.RE
