Verbal communication surrounds written and oral communication. Nonverbal communication may be performed by facial expressions, tone of voice, body posture or gestures, and eye contact. Demonstrative communication can be effective and ineffective. Many do not realize that this form of communication can also be positive and negative for both the sender and the receiver. Demonstrative communication involves sending or transmitting and accepting silent messages (Nayah, 2010). It is often acted upon to draw attention to verbal communication, despite the fact that it can work single single-handly to express messages by itself. The most commonly used amongst every nonverbal communication is facial expressions.
