It was loaded with one bullet in the chamber. •The victim is 5 foot 9 inches tall, weighs about 140 pounds, and has well-developed muscles. •The coroner tells you that her fingernails were broken, and there were bruises on her upper arms. Evidence collected at the crime scene is essential to determining what occurred at the crime scene and to identify the criminal offender. In this case the detectives will need to walk through the crime scene in order to locate evidence and develop a theory of what occurred, gather evidence, interview witnesses, and consult with the CSI unit. In order to solve the case the detectives need to develop information on the victim and her life as well as through the physical evidence located at the scene. Murder Crime Scene In this scenario police have been called to the scene where a woman has been stabbed and has been located on the kitchen floor. The kitchen is in total disarray and a knife is lying close to the body of the victim that was taken from the knife block on the counter. The detective locates a gun in a drawer not far from the victim and there is no sign of breaking and entering. After talking to the coroner the detective discovered the victim is 5'9 and 140 forty pounds and is very muscular and the finger nails of the victim where broken and there were bruises located on the victims upper arms. After speaking to the family the detective learned there is nothing missing in the home which rules out robbery as the motive. The detective will
