In your opinion what crimes should they be most concerned with over the next few years?NYECTF stands for New York Electronic Crimes Task Force. The New York Electronic Crimes Task Force consists of four different law enforcement agencies from the four boroughs that work together in order to identify any potential threats to the nation using critical information infrastructures. The NYECTF is a branch of the secret service that applies the task force model to allow law enforcement agencies to pool their resources and expand their jurisdiction in order to investigate electronic crimes. While the Secret Service lead the taskforce, the agency believes emphasizes prevention and education and traditional law enforcement measures (USSS, 2010). The NYECTF conducts research and provides the necessary technical expertise to ensure cyber threats can be identified and stopped. In the next few years the nation will continue to face threats that develop with new technology.
