Emergency management is an important process in any organization and includes management of resources and responsibilities for addressing all aspects of the emergency. When creating a comprehensive incidence management plan the four steps will include addressing mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery with all identified threats. Emergencies can consist of natural disasters, school shooters, criminal situations, fires, and other situations which require an immediate and organized response.
