Tutor description

Everton Football Club is a proud traditional football team based in Liverpool. The club has the most appearances in the “Top Flight” of the leagues of English Football and has won many honors over the years. Currently, they are occupying 12th position in the league. However, they were beaten on penalties (9-8) away at West Ham and were beaten 3-0 away at Swansea to be eliminated from the FA Cup and League Cup respectively in the first round that they entered. This leaves Everton only in one cup competition which is the Europa League. Currently, they have only been able to achieve 22 points after game week 21. This means that they have lost 41 points up to this time of the season. A premier league season has 38 matches for each club and now it would mean that only 17 games are remaining. The club has managed five wins, seven draws, and lost nine matches. The team has been able to score 30 goals but has let in 34 goals on their side which contributes to a negative goal difference.

The attack is doing quite well by sitting seventh in the charts of most league goals scored so far in the premier league. However, they have a poor defensive record and sit nineteenth in the charts of most goals conceded and only sit a point above Queens Park Rangers. They have only managed three clean sheets so far which translates to a 14% record that is poor. The coach attributes this to the absence of key player
