Tutor description

This essay critically discusses the argument that multiculturalism is dead considering the UK as a case study. Multiculturalism has been an issue of concern in the UK over the past decades, and many attempts have been made to ensure multiculturalism is totally scrapped off from societies living in the United Kingdom. Many opponents of multiculturalism associate it with terrorism and violence. They argue that it is due to multiculturalism that youths from different cultures in the UK such as Muslims are radicalized and influenced to committing acts of terrorism. Alexander (2005) claims that in order to eliminate racism and ethnicity, it is imperative for the UK government to kill multiculturalism and advocate for assimilation and promotion of the idea that all citizens should share a common interest as citizens of a nation.
