Psychological or emotional abuse refers to a persistent psychological maltreatment of a person with the intention of causing adverse and long term emotional effect on the person that lacks ability to safeguard himself. Sexual abuse is mainly practiced by children or young people that maybe less aware of what is happening where they are made to take part in sexual activities such as prostitution (Yvonne 2009, 56).
