After researching these questions the trends have shown that while the "funny" commercial entertains the consumer the advertisements involving new technologies and electronic innovations have found the most success in the last few years. In 2010 the advertisements produced by Samsung, Apple, and other consumer tech products led the race in having the most successful marketing campaigns. The most popular advertisement for 2010 was Samsung's 3D TV which showed a family sitting in front of the new 3D television watching a movie and when putting on their 3D glasses sea life swims in front of the families face (McClellan, 2010). There are no funny little lizards or talking babies in the advertisement just wholesome family fun. The advertisement resulted in the highest overall rating Ace Metrix score and had the most success
