First, we made a coil of wire by wrapping a piece of wire 50 to 60 times tightly around a pencil whose circumference was larger than the neodymium magnet’s. The wire was cut with an excess of about 10 centimeters on both sides. We then created a support structure out of cardstock strips by folding the strips into cylinders to ensure that the paper strips would both support the speaker structure but also be able to vibrate during operation.
