Most of the problems in my essay are grammatical; there are not that many punctuation errors, which isa surprise to me. The brunt of my grammatical errors comes from the miss use of words or phrases. Ihave always been taught to use a lot of words when writing, as I have learned, it is called being wordy.I have created many errors by using words such as actual or actually, form the word being, usingthe phrase due to the fact, and words like ok. These are all words that can be deleted withoutchanging the meaning and sometimes can even be deleted without having to change the sentence.Another error I have noticed that I tend to use is putting things into question. Rather than asking aquestion, I should be asking myself the question and writing the answer. Asking an audience to answera question is a mixed feeling; some may thing that I want a verbal answer while others think that it isrhetorical. In all, there should be no questions in an essay or verbal speech. My next steps are the revision process, which is not a great process, because I am horrible at it. I amplanning to go over the thesis statement to make sure it relates to the rest of the essay. Another thingthat must be checked is the topic sentence and to be sure it is correct and helps with the beginning ofthe essay. Watching carefully, it must have coherence and flow, having an essay that does not flow verywell makes it hard on the readers because they cannot follow it.
