No surprise was created when hispoem: I, Too, Sing America was about a black man wish and hopes to live a life withequality. This poem conveys the fact that despite the differences of color, all peopleliving in America are Americans and have the right to be treated equally. Langstonspoem I, Too, Sing America illustrates the hope of equality, ambition and freedom of anoppressed person.Metaphors and Imagery is the main the structure of this poem. Hughes usedthroughout the whole poem, to give us an approximate image of what an abused persongoes through. The speaker started by saying that he, too sing America(line1).
