From the onset of her existenceinto this cruel world, Ruth Anne commonly known as Bone was given birth to in the mostdestructive way ever to have brought forth life. To me, I can call her a lucky girl who survivesthe fatal accident when her fifteen-year-old mother goes through the windshield in an accidentscene. She is branded the name bastard of the state of Carolina when her mother sleepsthrough the crash and fails not to make her daughters birth certificate in time. Her problems,however, seems to be summing up as days go by; this rises just when her birth certificate isbranded ILLEGITIMATE (Kraus, 2004).Without the knowledge of who her father of her child is, she is forced to live on in thatstate. The life that her daughter undergoes, where she is considered a bastard makes Anney, hermother to hate it because it makes her family is considered trash. Any attempt made to makeRuth attain her birth certificate all goes in vain, and Bone has to live on with that for the rest ofher life. Anney lives a life that the people that are living with her makes laughter out of her typeof life.
