The overarching story of the film, which movesfrom the dawn of pre-history and the development of apes to the technologicalaccomplishments of interstellar travel, lends itself to interpretations which suggest that thefilm is a greater commentary on the meaning of human existence. Basically the movie isbased on scientific ground where in story the movie maker shows an imposition blackstructure; i think it is black whole, provides connection or makes gate between past and futurewhere the astronauts are sent to some dangerous and mysterious mission. But the questionssurrounding the film thus primarily relate to what Kubrick is trying to say in his cinematicaccount of human and civilisation progress. Despite the famous ambiguity surrounding thefilm, there is a clear mise-en-scene at the base of the story, as it moves through three parts:firstly, the pre-historic actions of human ape ancestors, which are influenced by a giantmonolith, secondly, the journey into space after the discovery of apparently the samemonolith on the moon, which sends signals to the moons of Jupiter, and thirdly, what occurswhen th
