Most of the individuals affected are the low and medium income earners. The high cost of the education has made some students drop out of school and come backwhen they get funds to finance their studies. Organizations raise the cost of education in an attempt to provide quality services asdemanded by the students. High cost of university education is negatively affecting our country.ARGUMENT I am an economist by profession. I have studied the effects of increased costs of university fees. This trend, if not controlled will result in low skilled labor for the country. The high rate of dropouts will increase the unemployment rates and lower innovations inour country (Jarvis, 2013). This situation could harm the economy of the country.CONTINUED High education is a basic need for each in the country. It is the universal right of each to have access to affordable education.
