To increase the yield of fisheries, various immunostimulants have been tried andtested and some of them work better than the other. In this paper, some of theseimmunostimulants are discussed such as extracts from Acalypha indica, Hygrophila spinosa,Picrorhiza kurooa, Tinospora cordifolia, Zingiber officinalis, Candida sake S165, Murrayakoeniji, Psoralea corylifolia, Quercus infectoria and Sargassum glaucescens. All of theseextracts were found to be viable immunostimulants and thus, they increase the survival rateof Fenneropenaeus indicus.
