While large company may adopt different strategies for every department, it is important to highlight that a small company different strategies may be assigned to individuals or employees. In the case of Apple Inc., there are various strengths that the company could pride itself for. In particular, the company has a strong customer loyalty. Besides, the company prides itself as the pioneers of innovation especially in mobile device technology. This has ensured that the company continues to post strong financial performance. In fact, the company posted gross profits of about $10 billion which represented almost 44% by 2012(Hertzfeld,2014). In addition, Apple has strength in its brand reputation. Many customers perceive the company as highly innovative and a brand of choice. By 2012, Apple Inc. Brand was valued at approximately $75 billion making it one of the most valuable brands in the world(Hertzfeld,2014).While the company enjoys different strengths, it has weaknesses that may impede its ability to remain competitive and profitable.
