The under discussion case study must be dealt with full concentration as a negotiator because both parties have their own objectives to meet and there are particular overlapping issue that need to be addressed. I, as a manager, have to make sure that either I get promotion or pay raise whereas retail organization have to minimize their expense of available resources [Christopher W. Moore, PHD (2015)]. Issues in the upcoming negotiationThe issues to be addressed are compensations for over burden and implied stress onto the manager and limited resources available in the organization. The manager does not have intentions to leave the organization because he was well compensated in the past and has a very long time relationship with his work in the retail organization. But, he cannot let his concern for the organization cause him extra stress and work which he is not being compensated for. Even though the organization has limited resources at the time but there is a very small amount of pay-raise he is expecting.
