Formal communication is made with service users, professionals or colleagues whether informal communication is made with friends and families. Formal CommunicationThere is some level of formality in Health and Social Care organization work. When you are communicating with professional from your organization or outside the organization, even u both have same fields or u are from different fields you have to make worth of the word professional. Be formal with him. And see the situation and communicate accordingly. Like if an other professional and you are from the same field then you should use jargons to make impression but you both are from different fields, then dont use jargons and keep the communication as simple as possible because main objective of communication is not to make impression, but to deliver your view point and message. You should use formal language with service user because he would think that Community of this organization have some manners and that persons shall admire
