Compare and ContrastJohn D. RockefellerRockefeller was the pioneer of industrial revolution in new world. He was subscriber or promoter of an Oil Company and worlds greatest entrepreneur. He was native of New York but he developed his own oil refinery in Cleveland then after some years in refinery he struggled hard for the industrial revolution in America and he had a clear goal for Oil. In 1870 he created his own Oil Company in America. After some year of the corporation of Oil Company, his Oil Company becomes worlds largest oil Company and there was no close competition between his oil. It was kind of monopoly of oil but he didnt take any advantage from his monopoly; he didnt raise the prices because all he wanted was the revolution in industrial system of America [John D. Rockefeller (2015)]. Rockefeller was born in 1839 in New York, and he migrated with his family to Cleveland when he was 16 years old. Immediately after moving to Cleveland he started working there as he was a hard work boy and he was never afraid of working. He studied not much and his first job was the job of accountant where he learned so many things for life. He worked as accountant for four years and then he opened his own business with a partner. It was the business meat and fruits. He worked day and night to process this business and this business reached on boom in the very start and after ending the first year of business, accountant says the profit from this bus
