Tutor description

When adding using the partial sums method it works because we are adding each place holder separately then at the end regrouping all the numbers in order to get the answer. So first you start with the hundreds place. So 400+800=1200 then you can move on to the tens place which is 20+30=50, and then you can move towards the ones place which is 9+7=16.
