Preference/reason: My preferences among these are the substitution and multiplication due to the fact that it is simple and not time consuming. 2. Describe a consistent system.Answer: it is opposite of inconsistent system. This means a system without variation. In linear equation it means there are solution to equation and therefore does not contradict. 3. Describe an inconsistent system.Answer: this means there is a lot of variation and it is not possible for both equations to hold simultaneously. They contradict each in that if one holds the other one must fail. Will have the same value of m but different values of b, when both are placed in y= mx+ b form.4. Describe a dependent system.Answer: the equation are identical when are both placed in slope-intercept form and the lines from it are usually same line.Go to 'insert' and 'shapes'.
