The first part of the paper provides detailed information about the reasons why Solyndra went down despite being provided with financial intervention from the government. Many stakeholders of the entity have blamed the executives of the company for the problems facing the company. For this reason, the second part deals with discussion of how Milton Friedman's philosophy might have influenced the functioning of the company. Milton's philosophy was based on the idea that the social responsibility of any organization is to have an increase in revenues and profitability. Evidence based research on the company has been used to provide the framework of discussion for this paper.INTRODUCTIONThe manufacturing of Solar Panel by Solyndra, the California producer has been faced by many ethical and legal challenges.
